- Beaver Bank is a rural community with
a population of about 8000 located along a secondary highway about 40
km from Halifax, Nova Scotia.
- The Beaver Bank Kinsac Community Center at 1583 Beaver
Bank Road is a central location
with a lot of activity going on right now! This
new building houses the Community Center, the Fire Department, the RCMP
Community Policing Office, and the Community Access Site
(Capsite). The Community Center burned in Sept 2009 and while we
await our rebuild, HTB Junior High School has offered a temporary home
for the Community Policing Office and the Capsite.

- Our community has its own CAPCAM site. This is a
combined weather station and weather camera facility located at the Fire
Station at the corner of Kinsac Road and Beaver Bank Road.
